MVN 2009
What is Medical Variety Night (MVN)?
Every year, the Queen’s University School of Medicine in Kingston, ON puts on a non-profit charity event showcasing the talents of medical students from all four years. This show runs over three nights (Thursday, November 12th-14th, 2009) and features a wide variety of performances as well as four short skits written, directed and performed by each of the four classes (Class of 2010-2013).
This year marks the 40th anniversary of MVN at Queen’s. In the past, MVN has raised more than $7,000 for local charities annually. These charities include:
- Almost Home
- Camp Outlook
- Breast Cancer Action Kingston
- Dawn House
- Epilepsy & Seizure Disorders Resource Centre
- HIV/AIDS Regional Services
- Interval House
- Partners in Mission Food Bank
- Queen’s Health Outreach
MVN is highly anticipated each year by hundreds of medical students, numerous faculty, as well as the community and the charities within it that we support. We look forward to seeing you there!
